When should I tell my loved ones I'm engaged to my not-so-long time boyfriend?

My boyfriend of a month and a half now just proposed to me. Now it's already established that we love eachother and want to be together. But everyone around us thinks we've gone too fast. haha (we already have a puppy and a house together) But the thing is, I know this is right I've never been so sure of anything in my life. And I'm a very indecisive person. I said yes, but how should I break it to my friends and family. It's going to be a long engagement anyway.
