Have you had a procedure called novasure for heavy periods?

I suffered with long, severe periods and my doctor suggested a D/C with a scraping of the uterus (novasure). It is for woman who is done with childbirth. The next step would be a hysterectomy. Looking to chat with anyone who has had this done.
