Can i get tax return as an asylee ?

i worked 4 months with fake social security number.i applied for asylum in 2008.decision will be mailed or judge will call me to the court.if i get approve i will get my work permit ssn and green card.what i am trying to find out is can i get tax return in this time period. i have 4 months pay stubs.total 2030$ dollars net pay.how can i get tax return as a resident asylee while my court is pending ? Is it illegal ?
