Gilmore Girls 8th Season with 13 episodes?

Ok, I just read that Matt (the guy who plays Logan on Gilmore Girls) said that there might be an 8th season of Gilmore Girls with 13 episodes. AND in that 8th season, him and Rory were going to get back together. Does anyone know if this is true? I hope so!!!!!
