What is a good book for someone interested in becoming a sommelier?

I am looking for a book with possibly a large index of wines and spirits. I would like something well-illustrated with interesting details. Quite frankly, I'm looking for a wine/spirit encyclopedia. Does anyone know anything that comes close?
