Has anyone had allergy testing for adhesive allergy?

I have an allergy to every bandaid on the market and i also have a alergy to the ones the hospital put on me after i told them of my allergy. They said that it wont effect me at all. Well it did. And now my daughter who has the same allergy has stitches and had a reaction to the same bandage and after telling them of my story they told me that i must have a diffrent allergy and it wont effect my daughter. But it did. I want to get allergy testing done to find out if there is anything out there We can use safley. Has anyone gone down this road or do you just put up with it like i have been doing?
