Can you die sleeping in your car?

I was wondering, could I die from carbon monoxide poisoning if I slept in my car for an hour with it running (A/C on) while parked in a parking lot? I can't imagine I would because I have spent more time in the car awake than one hour. Still, I wouldn't want to accidentally kill myself because I wanted to nap during lunch. Any info will be appreciated.
